The range of basic alarm units and additional equipment makes it possible to build a well-balanced security system for sites of any size and type, from flats to shopping centres.
Orion NOVA supports full remote control from mobile devices, which makes day-to-day operation easier.
The client's main requirement: a simple, attractive design for the alarm units at a low production cost, universal enough to suit several versions.
We also wanted a distinctive design that would stand out from what was on the market.
The concept we finally chose was the simplest and most concise, and it adapted well to the different versions.
The difficulties in development came from the substantial differences between the versions.
Each version had its own features and requirements for different use scenarios. Meeting all of them was impossible, because the system was built from a minimal set of shared parts. To reach the goal, we analysed the most common and likely use scenarios for each version and favoured the design solutions users needed most often. The result is a four-part system with a distinctive design that is now used across a whole range of Tiras products.
