Stick - is a small, convenient, and powerful vector network analyzer designed to measure the most useful parameters of cable and antenna systems in the range from 100 kHz to 230 MHz.
Before starting the development process, the client voiced a number of requirements, the main of which is the creation of a practical and at the same time attractive design.
There are several reasons for choosing such a design concept:
- First, the analysis of existing solutions that we could apply in the new buildings
- Secondly, we tried to choose such forms that would be most suitable for the conditions of use
- The appearance of the concept was also influenced by the fact that we wanted to see in the design a clear imitation of the brand and the overall style
All the difficulties associated with the implementation of this project were related to the reduction of the size of the building. Repeated optimization of boards and reduction of the number of details became the main challenge in development. Quite a lot of time was spent on choosing the right display. As a result, Stick got an E-ink display that undefined fully suited for the price, power consumption and allows you to comfortably work with the device in the field in bright daylight. This device is not used indoors, so it must have a higher class of protection against dust and water. This property of the case often leads to an increase in size. With extensive experience in designing devices with a high class of IP protection, we still managed to maintain the compact size and implement the planned functionality.
