ECOSOFT P’URE - line of reverse osmosis filters.

Reverse osmosis technology allows you to remove 99.8% of contaminants from the water. This is the most perfect way to purify drinking water available for home use.

The main component of the filter is a Filmtec reverse osmosis membrane from the American company DOW. It purifies water at the molecular level, retaining all kinds of contaminants, even bacteria, and viruses.

The reverse osmosis membrane is a semipermeable polymer fabric. Its pores are 200 times smaller than the size of viruses, so membrane purification guarantees complete biological protection. Water purified in this way does not need to be boiled. It is completely safe for people of all ages, even small children.

The customer voiced the following priorities in the development: high reliability of the housing and assembly of the flask with connecting elements, ease of installation and maintenance, as well as low cost of parts.

With all the voiced wishes, we understood that the reverse osmosis system, although it will be hidden (often undefined installed under the sink), still should be organized so as not to scare and look like a neat and aesthetic engineering solution.

The design concept we chose, in the end, correlates best with Ecosoft's branding, which combines eco-technologies and clean water for everyday life. Simple shapes, such as a drop, stylization of plants, form the basis of the visual style of Ecosoft. Throughout the development, such forms were preferred. This logic was reflected in the mechanical assembly of the design, which allowed to assemble both double and triple filter, visually reminding us of the structure of the petals and providing the ability to customize filters for customers.

During the development, there were difficulties associated with the waterproofing of the nodes and the fixation of the seals, which tend to shift when the filter is subjected to different types of pressures in the water system. Tests and refinements were required at certain stages.
