RICHYN - smart and stylish towel holder.
The main requirement of the customer is to create the most reliable design for fixing towels of different types. The towel should not be equipped with any additional tools and hooks.
For this project, we sought to develop a memorable design, the design of which would surpass in functionality the idea of the most advanced competitors in this area. We also needed to make small enclosures that could hold even a bath towel (it is much heavier than a standard kitchen towel).
In the process of project implementation, the most difficult part can be considered the part of development that took the most time. These were the tests and calibration of the stiffness of the internal silicone clamps. This parameter of the material was selected at the stage of creating a prototype product. The prototyping tools we used are 3D printing, laser, and plotter cutting of silicone sheets and milling of the case.
The development of this project took 3 months. Similarundefined prototyping tool (housing milling), we also used it to create a prototype housing undefined ElvaX Jewelry Lab.
